We are looking for a Welder/Fitter to join our team onsite in Harmony, PA
As a member of the Fabrication Shop, you will be responsible for welding components and sub-component items for assemblies, and equipment that ships direct to our customers. Must have pride and take ownership of work, and work well within a team environment. Welding forgings, pipe, plate, and other assemblies comprised of similar and dissimilar metals i.e. copper, steel and stainless steel etc. utilizing primarily the GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW welding processes. Knowledge of various metals, filler material preheating and the effects of shrinkage, expansion from heating and welding. Must be proficient in reading and interpreting Engineering drawings.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain equipment, tooling and general shop area in a clean and professional manner
- Disassembly/Assembly, Testing/Clean/ Paint, Operate Saw, Grind, Prep/Clean Materials For Refurbishment.
- Basic Fitting & Layout
- Accurately log in and off of jobs and accurately fill out job paperwork
- Perform all hydrostatic/pneumatic & flow testing and accurately complete required documentation
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical school, apprenticeship, or welding certification preferred.
- 2–3 years of welding and metal fabrication experience in a shop or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge and use of measuring equipment (calipers, tape, micrometer, etc.)
- Skilled in fabricating, fitting, and assembling metal structures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
- GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, Welding Skills required
- Inconel, Stainless, Carbon, Copper metals welding preferred
- Ability to perform quality checks on welds and fabricated parts to meet specifications.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong mathematical skills
- Willingness to work overtime or varied shifts, if required

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand up to 10 hours per day
