The UltraLife® Cast Copper Panel

  • One-piece or multi-piece casting designs are available.
  • Specially-designed water passages are calculated to allow for efficient cooling, with minimum pressure drop due to the smooth inside surfaces, resulting in minimal wear.
  • The UltraLife® Casting features specially-designed hot face pockets for optimal slag retention and is designed with steel attachments to permit direct welding to the furnace for electric furnace panel applications.

UltraLife® Cast Copper Fin Panel

  • Copper panel to extend the brick life in the furnace hot spot areas.
  • Panel is located in or above the refractory layer to preserve and extend refractory life.
  • Positioned below burner or other “hot spot” locations to provide additional cooling.
  • Can be used to inject carbon or lime lower in the furnace.
  • Easy mounting with lugs, bolts, steel straps or wedges to mount to the steel shell.
  • The fins can be filled with refractory. Easily covers with slag helping to promote life expectancy.
