Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Programming Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that enhance our operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and systems engineering, with a passion for problem-solving and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using programming languages such as Python and Java.
  • Implement virtualization solutions to optimize resource utilization and improve system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient software delivery.
  • Conduct systems engineering tasks to ensure the reliability and scalability of applications.
  • Manage operating systems and ensure their optimal performance within the infrastructure.
  • Perform vulnerability management to identify and mitigate security risks in software applications.
  • Configure and manage DHCP services to ensure efficient IP address allocation within the network.
  • Document processes, code changes, and system configurations for future reference.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies and CI/CD practices.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure is a plus.
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and their administration.
  • Experience in vulnerability management practices is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
