We are looking for an LG3 Welder to join our team onsite in Harmony, PA
The Welder Level 3 (L3) is an advanced-level skilled tradesperson responsible for performing complex welding operations with minimal supervision. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, the ability to interpret detailed blueprints, and leadership in supporting production quality and mentoring junior welders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform advanced welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) on a variety of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols to execute precise welds.
- Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment and fixtures independently.
- Ensure all welds meet quality standards, codes, and specifications (e.g., AWS, ASME if applicable)
- Inspect completed welds using measuring tools and visual inspection techniques.
- Troubleshoot welding issues and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Train and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 welders
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Complete required documentation, including weld logs and inspection reports.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in welding preferred
- 5+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Proficiency in multiple welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick required; Flux-core a plus)
- Strong understanding of weld symbols and blueprint reading.
- Experience working with tight tolerances and complex assemblies.
- Knowledge of industry standards (AWS, ASME, etc.)
- Ability to pass weld certification tests as required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 pounds.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, grasp, and operate welding equipment, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
- Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to perform precise welding tasks.
- May be required to work in confined spaces, awkward positions, or elevated areas.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as a welding helmet, gloves, safety glasses, respirator, and protective clothing.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to noise, heat, sparks, fumes, and other elements typical of a welding and fabrication environment.
